PRE-READING:

We are going to read a short story called: BEWARE OF THE DOG.

1. Have you seen this sign (Cuidado con el perro) on a wall? What do you feel when you see this? What do you think?

2. What do you imagine the topic of the story is?

READING

1. Read the story without worrying about the words you do not know.

2. Read the story and try to find out:

What is the theme of the story?

Who is the narrator of the story?

When (approximately) is the story supposed to have happened?

Who is the protagonist? How do you imagine him/her?
